Now Accepting Internship Applications for 2021 Oklahoma Veterinary Conference

For Immediate Release – November 11, 2020 – Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – The Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA) is now accepting internship applications for the 2021 Oklahoma Veterinary Conference to be held January 28- 30 in Norman, Oklahoma. Interns will be given opportunities to gain experience in multiple facets of the conference, including working with exhibitors and sponsors as well as networking with over 700 attendees from across the state of Oklahoma.

Candidates who are interested in applying for this position must submit a completed application, resume, and a list of references by December 30, 2020. Ideal candidates must be willing to assist with all functions of the event, including lengthy days and early mornings. Due to the position dealing directly with professionals within the veterinary industry applicants should also demonstrate an interest towards the industry and have the ability to work collaboratively.

OVMA will provide lodging, mileage reimbursement, and a daily per diem. If the intern can apply the experience to college credit opportunities OVMA is willing to assist with the necessary paperwork.
