The Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association invites veterinarians to be part of one of the Tulsa State Fair’s most unique educational experiences, the Birthing Center!
Each year, thousands of fairgoers visit the Birthing Center to witness the excitement of animal births while gaining a better understanding of animal agriculture, veterinary medicine, and responsible animal care. As a volunteer veterinarian, you’ll play an important role in promoting animal health and welfare, assisting with births as needed, answering questions from the public, and sharing your passion for veterinary medicine with the next generation.
Whether you’re a longtime volunteer or joining us for the first time, your knowledge and expertise help create a memorable experience for Oklahoma families and showcase the vital role veterinarians play in agriculture and animal care.
Volunteer shifts are available throughout the Tulsa State Fair, and OVMA will do our best to accommodate your schedule.
Join us in celebrating agriculture, educating the public, and representing the veterinary profession at the Tulsa State Fair Birthing Center. We hope to see you there!
