Spay Day 2014

In an effort to raise funds for the Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Foundation's Pet Overpopulation Fund, veterinarians across the state participated in Spay day on February 25, 2014.

The pet overpopulation fund provides spay and neuter surgeries for pets owned by families in need. On Spay Day participating veterinarians donated spay and neuter procedures and had clients pay OVMF directly, allowing them to receive a tax deductible credit.

Veterinarians receive no reimbursement. They donated their time and costs.

The final amount of funds raised has yet to be determined, given that late donations are still pouring in. We're so thankful to everyone that participated.
